Nestled in the heart of KwaZulu-Natal, Eagles View is perched on the edge of the Krantzkloof Nature Reserve, a haven for wildlife enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. This pristine reserve is renowned for its rich biodiversity and offers a glimpse into South Africa’s natural wonders. Within Krantzkloof, a diverse array of wildlife thrives.
The reserve is home to various antelope species, including bushbuck – sometimes seen grazing just beyond our fence. Birdwatchers are in for a treat, as the reserve hosts an impressive avian population, from the amusing Hornbills to the elusive African Crowned Eagles that nest below in the gorge. These majestic birds of prey are a highlight for birdwatchers and wildlife photographers.
Beyond the reserve, the charming village of Kloof offers a range of restaurants, pubs and shops, with convenient access to the motorway. The Kloof Gorge provides fantastic hiking opportunities with picturesque views.
